colleges in India

Compared to 10th, 12th board exams are considered to be more important and students are far more worried about their future at this time. In the senior secondary class the subjects chosen by students are the deciding factors for the pavement of their future career path. Therefore, the percentage scored in these subjects is very important and are the basis on which they further take admission in the colleges of India. Whether it’s a B. Sc, BCA, BMC, BA, BBA, or any other bachelors course the percentage of the students is what helps him take admission in the course of their choice. Though, most of the colleges in India have entrance tests for almost every course today but, still a minimum percentage is required to be applicable for the test.
Even for higher studies in professional Indian colleges like Engineering or MBA colleges in India, 12th percentage is the utmost important factor. Students are judged academically on the basis of their performance in these exams. Also, in case of job interviews the candidates are asked to mention their 12th percentage and their intellectuality is judged by the merits they have scored. Above all the expectation of parents is something which puts a pressure on students to perform at their best.
But, all these things enforce a lot of peer pressure on the 12th students. The parents and the teachers should always understand the capability of the students and ask them to perform accordingly. Motivating them to work in a positive direction is a healthy thing but forcing them to work beyond their abilities can put them in tough situations. Parents should keep counselling their students about their performance and tell them they should give their best but at the same time should not let it become a ghost hovering in their dreams.
