IIT- JEE, the entrance test for admission into the India’s top most engineering institute was held on 8th April, 2012 in different cities across the country. According to the students, this time the paper was easier than the usual very high standards of IIT. The students were happy with their performance, though the second part of the exam was comparatively tough. Taken by more than five Lakh candidates, the exam was conducted in around 1,067 centres around the country. Cracking an IIT exam and taking admission in the top most engineering colleges of India is the aim of every engineering aspirant. With the test papers getting easier this year, the students are positive about their success in the same.
This time the students could also take a copy of their answer sheets back home, which helped them tallying the answers accurately with their teachers and fellow students. The competition still remains very tough because of the availability of only 10,000 seats in 15 IIT colleges of India. According to experts, the pattern for the exam was also little bit different from the previous years. Also, if you are planning to appear for the exam next year then, please keep yourself updates as the HRD ministry is planning to change the format of the exam from the next academic year.
Working harder and harder is the only mantra for success in IIT exam. The engineering colleges in India are many but the standards of IIT are way higher than any other college. Learning, mugging, understanding, grasping concepts and tricks for just two years can pay you handsomely for the rest of your life. So, concentrate in your studies and fulfil the dreams of your parents and teachers by grabbing a seat in the most reputed engineering colleges of India.
