Changes in the Australia's student Visa Programme

Going abroad for higher studies has become a fashion statement in the country. More of students can be seem applying to foreign university to study in Australia, UK, Canada, US or other countries. With a larger percentage of students applying for courses abroad, its competition level has gone higher. So, to deal with this and take a fair decision on the admission of the students, countries are making changes in their admission procedure. Same ways, Australia these days is focussing on the improvement of the country’s competitiveness with regard to its international education system. The changes would be implemented from the next session which would begin in November 2012. This is also to make the country a better education destination as compared to its other competition states.

The session which is to begin from November 5 this year, would require its applicants to submit COE- Confirmation of Enrolment, along with the Visa application form. This would save the student’s time of going through the Pre- Visa Assessment procedure. The country has also made significant changes in the finances required for assessments at AL 3 and 4 levels. This is to make study in Australia an easy process for the students than other education destinations across the globe.

A Genuine Temporary Entrant, an interview would also be conducted by the state to ensure that students are entering the country with the purpose of education only. This is to guarantee the credibility of the students as well of the Australia as an education destination. After doing the above mentioned changes, more numbers of students are surely going to apply for their higher education in Australia. Gaining a foreign degree in MBA, MTech or other popular programmes would get far easier for the students now and they would be able to fulfil their dreams of acquiring degrees from foreign land.
