All for women education!

Realising the importance of women education and working on the lines of its improvement, the UGC has proposed 20 new exclusive universities for women. This has been proposed under the 12th Plan document of UGC to make sure that the entire women population across the country is able to get quality education from renowned universities. The proposal also includes 800 constituent colleges to be taken care by the central government. Though, there are many engineering college in Chennai, MBA colleges in Pune, MBA finance or other colleges for other fields in the country, but this is specifically to promote women education. If this proposal gets accepted then it is sure to make significant changes in the Indian education system.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) in its Five Year Plan is also looking for a four-time increase in the allocation of fund from Rs 46,632 Cr to Rs 1, 84,740 Cr to accomplish the proposals it has made. This is going to be a great achievement in the education industry and will boost the confidence of women in the country. For leading a healthy and successful life, it’s very important for a person to be educated. Especially, for girls you must be educated to have a safe and sound future. To live independently in this world today, you need the stick of education to support you throughout your life. Though, there are many government universities and private colleges, which have co-ed system of education but, there are still many Indian families who are against co-ed education. It will take ages to change this thinking so, it’s best to have separate colleges for women. These universities and colleges would have their base even in the rural areas of India, making education accessible to women across the country.
If this proposal would come into action then, it would prove to be a very positive step towards the upliftment of women education
