HERE’S A LOOK AT THE BEST MANAGEMENT COLLEGES IN INDIA

Every year, the B-schools in the country are surveyed by top media houses and organizations based on various parameters. One of the well-known business magazines of India in partnership with Nielsen gave the rankings of various B-schools in India. The parameters sued in the survey are Learning Experience, Living Experience, Return on Investment, Brand Value and Future Orientation. These were the primary parameters based on which the management institutes in the country were ranked. 

More than 1,832 B-schools in India received the questionnaires of the survey. About 205 institutes in the country answered the survey supported with data. Besides the B-schools, another separate questionnaire was given to a group of students, teachers, young executives and employers. More than 13 cities across India were part of this interesting survey. 

Indian Institute of Management or the IIMs as commonly known is the best institute in the country for no reason. Even the year 2012 rankings, out of the ten best institutes, five are from IIM group. IIM-A, IIM-B and IIM-C are among the oldest institutions in the country. The new entrants in the group, IIM-K and IIM-Indore have been included in the Best B-schools List. With the innovative programs and excellent placements since their inception, these management colleges are making the right moves to be in the top rankings list. 

Other institutes featured in the list are private management colleges in the country. SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai has gained five positions while Management Development Institute, Gurgaon rose from 27^th rank to 8^th this year.
