Graduate Record Exams - GRE

Graduate Record Exam is a standard test which includes admission requirement for the graduate schools in the United States principally, and some other English speaking countries. This test is developed and administered by the US-based "Educational Testing Service" (ETS) under the direction of the Graduate Record Examination Board.

There are mainly two types of categories in this test.

Ø General GRE Test

Ø Subject GRE Test

General GRE Test - mainly contains verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and writing skills.

Subject GRE Test - The GRE® Subject Tests gauge undergraduate achievement in the eight disciplines listed below. Each Subject Test is intended for students who have majored in or have extensive background in that specific area.

• Biochemistry, Cell and Molecular Biology
• Biology
• Chemistry
• Computer Science
• Literature in English
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Psychology

Ø $150 - Subject Tests—All Other Locations

Ø $ 25 - Late Registration Fee

Ø $ 50 - Standby Testing

Ø $ 50 - Rescheduling Fee

Ø $ 50 - Changing Your Test Center or Subject Test

Ø $ 12 - Scores by phone

Ø $ 20 - Additional score report (ASR) requests–per recipient

Ø $ 30 - Paper-Based Test Hand Scoring

Ø $ 30 - Score Reinstatement Fee
